Security Attendants

Part time/Casual

DUTIES:

• Provide support to clients during evenings, nights, and weekend shifts
• To provide a home-like atmosphere for clients while in residence for an alcohol and drug treatment program 
• Observe and record all client behaviors to ensure a consistent flow of information to the counseling team 
• Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients and the building during shifts
•  Responsible for assigned cleaning to various parts of the building during shifts

.  QUALIFICATIONS:
 Must abstain from substance abuse

•     Written communication and interpersonal skills required

•     Willing to work shift work (8 & 12 hr shifts)

•     Knowledge of Alcoholism, Drugs and the process of treatment would be an asset

•     Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

•     Ability to speak Cree would be an asset

•     Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (CPIC with Vulnerable Sector, preferably to be included with resume)

•     Valid Class "G" Driver's License is mandatory
