We’re looking for a compassionate Early Childhood Educator to create a safe, engaging space that fosters holistic learning and cultural connection.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise EarlyON staff to ensure high-quality programming.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with internal programs and external agencies.
• Implement culturally appropriate programming for Indigenous families.
• Ensure child safety and program compliance with provincial legislation and policies.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the Indigenous Early Years Program.
• Promote inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in ECE, preferred not required.
• Experience with children and families is an asset.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Child Care and Early Years Act, ELECT and How Does Learning Happen frameworks.
• Strong understanding of community resources for children and families.
• Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations.
• First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain).
• Strong communication and team spirit.
• A clear Vulnerable Sector Check is required prior to employment.
• Proven leadership, coordination, and evaluation skills.
